The 2012 Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet MayFEST in Downtown Newton, NC will be held on May 12th, 2012

The 2012 Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet Newton MayFEST is schedule for Saturday, May 12 from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. in downtown Newton.

The annual event is organized and promoted by the Newton Merchant’s Group.  Activities for the day-long festival will encompass much of the downtown area with vendors, entertainment, children’s games and activities, food, a car show, sidewalk sales and much more.  Over 120 vendors will offer a wide variety of hand-made items, wood products, fashion accessories, crafts, and household items.

An entertainment stage, sponsored by the Observer News Enterprise will be located on South College at West A St featuring a wide variety of music.  The car show this year will be open to all makes and models.  It is being organized by the staff from Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet and prizes will be awarded for the Top 25 and Best of Show.  Registration is $20 and will be open from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., cars will enter the show from the intersection of North Brady & 1^st St.
